These earrings are hand made using Pure Silver (FS.999) metal clay, and uniquely encapsulate a natural stone. The brilliant shine of the pure silver paired with a simple stone create an elegant drop earring set. The sort of foraged treasure you might find if dancing your way through a tropical fairy forestland.
This is a one-of-a-kind, complete with imperfections that leave an imprint of intention and give it life – so that it would call for attention and its essence would carry on.
*Interesting information about Argentium Silver– I like to use it for jewelry, especially for hand-wired chain, for a variety of reasons. It has a higher purity than sterling and is the natural color of pure silver. When I use it for ear wires, they therefor become one together. It is brilliant, being whiter in color than platinum, white gold, palladium and traditional sterling. I think it's a great metal for intricate chain work because it is highly tarnish resistant and so easy to care for. It is also superior in strength, especially when hardened. Finally, it is suitable for those who are unable to wear traditional sterling silver due to its antibacterial and hypoallergenic properties. Really, I just find it so pretty to look at.
