A beautiful soft drape that is flattering without cling. There is something exceptional and luxurious about Lotus Silk– the way it feels, the way it moves, and the way it accentuates the wearer with an aura of comfortable elegance. The Margie is a modern muumuu, extra roomy, that can be worn loosely or with its wide ribbon waist tie. The ribbon tie is favored snug, with a large single loop sloppy bow. It carries its own worn with sandals or heels. I guess it depends on your mood, and you just might find you have to collect a few.
Lotus Silk is an exquisite and uncommon fabric made from the stem fibers of the lotus flower. It is both durable and dreamy. Like linen, it has a frequency Hz resonance that is considered healing and good for the body.
Its hand is soft, buttery smooth, and lightweight, like a blend of silk and fine linen, with a subtle sheen that adds to its elegance and special nature. It has incredible breathability, is antibacterial, and hypoallergenic. It has a cool touch in warmer weather and will equally warm you in cooler weather.

Materials & Care
Our Lotus Silk garments are safely hand-dyed or eco-printed, resulting in pieces that are delicate yet resilient. With proper care, they can endure for years. While hand washing remains an option, dry cleaning for silk is also recommended. Simply hang your clothes or lay flat to air dry. Avoid wringing to maintain the strength of fibers.
Our Artisans
From start to finish each garment is brought to life through an artistic eye and intentional design. This design was inspired in Sarasota Florida and hand-made by skilled artisans in India.
The inspiration for the Modern Muumuu is non-other than my grandmother, Margie.
