The Inspiration

She sits in the heavenly's on the banks of crystal blue waters, basking in perfect light.

Margie, my grandmother, was the kind of woman who approached her life with ease — she was authentic and warm. I remember her humor and her fondness of muumuus.

As a shortened version of The Margie muumuu, it's important that it equally reflects an essence of authentic sentiment, with no thought of trends or markets. The design had to offer comfortable elegance and charm, sweetly nuanced with flair.

The Fabric

Not silk.
Not Linen.
Something rarer.

Lotus Silk is an exquisite and uncommon fabric made from the stem fibers of the lotus flower. It is both durable and dreamy. Its hand is soft, buttery smooth, and lightweight, like a blend of silk and fine linen, with a subtle sheen that adds to its elegance and special nature. It has incredible breathability, is antibacterial, and hypoallergenic. It offers a cool touch in warmer weather.

Breathable

Cool in warmth, warming in cool — regulates naturally

Healing frequency

Like linen, carries a Hz resonance considered beneficial to the body

Hypoallergenic

Antibacterial, gentle on all skin types

As if collected from fields in full bloom, alive with color yet balanced with graceful simplicity.

The vibrant floral bouquet feels both joyful and artful, with hues of blue, red, yellow, and pink. It is luxurious with a soft drape and flattering comfort. The design is inspired by my grandmother Margie and her love of muumuu's. It features a balanced longer backside for modest coverage, a cap like sleeve, and a wide neck.

Floral Blue is a bespoke pattern rendering from the Puff Flower painting – an exclusive variation of Margie Box Blouse.

Fit & Size

We measure every garment to help you choose a size with confidence.

Materials & Care

Our Lotus Silk garments are safely hand dyed or eco printed, resulting in pieces that are delicate yet resilient. With proper care, they can endure for years. While hand washing remains an option, dry cleaning for silk is also recommended. Simply hang your clothes or lay flat to air to dry. Avoid wringing to maintain the strength of fibers.

Our Artisans

From start to finish each garment is brought to life through an artistic eye and intentional design. This design was inspired in Sarasota Florida and sewn by skilled artisans in India.

Inspiration for the Box Blouse is my grandmother, Margie, who sits in the heavenly's on the banks of crystal blue waters, basking in perfect light.

Intuitive Process

Bring forward through layers

While I am painting constantly in my mind, when I do get a chance to stand before a canvas, most often I load it up with paint and stand back. To study. Interact. To be emotional and seek what is there.

Expression
From literal art translation to rendered patternwork

The artful journey is never over, at least not for me. There may be times of rest, but no peice ever becomes barren of inspiration.
